Perseus Hall of Honor

The meritorious efforts of a player may be recognized by the decorating of a commendation ribbon and/or award. Below, you'll find the available out-of-character (OOC) commendations a member of the crew may be liable to receive upon nomination by their peers or a member of the Command Staff.

Simmer of the Month: awarded to the player as voted in by their peers; this commendation showcases the nominated players all encompassing commitment to the role-playing game at large and its player-base. They've demonstrated qualities and attributes that have better enriched the in-character and out-of-character environments, further enhancing the quality of the RPG overall.

Captain's Award: an award handed out by the CO to the player that the CO feels has contributed a lot to the RPG in terms of quality, activity and any other criteria that the CO chooses.

Executive Award: this commendation is awarded by the Executive Officer to the player that has shown true growth and prospering since initially joining the role-playing game. Fitting in with a well-established group of players can be difficult, at best; however, this player showcases a talent for becoming immediately involved in the in-character and out-of-character environments and goes so far as to include themselves in the betterment of the RPG in many different aspects (as described by the Executive Officer in the nomination of this commendation).

Spock's "Fascinating" Award: awarded by the Command Staff to the player who has shown the most unique, surprising, and well written posts of the mission.

Spammity Spam Award: for the player who has shown to be the most active in the OOC threads as determined by the Command Staff.

Hot Blooded Award: for the player that posts the smexiest posts on the ship, within the RPG rated limits of course as determined by Command Staff.

"I have many Leather Bound Books" Award: for the player that posts with the highest of quality and detail in their in-character contributions, as determined by the Command Staff.

Social Animal Award: for the player that participates in the most join posts (JP's) during the mission.

Lone Wolf Award: for the player that makes the most individual posts during the mission.

Graphics Guru: for the player who has significantly helped in the Perseus's Graphics Department.

Graphics God: for the player who has gone above and beyond the realm of reason in their dedication to helping the Perseus graphically.

The Significant Six Award: for the first six players to have joined the Perseus RPG!

Philip J, Fry Humor Award: for the player who best incorporates humor into their in-character posts!

Recruitment Award: A role-playing game must thrive and continuously develop/expand through the utilization of several different fundamental elements, one of which is the constant recruitment of new players. The Recruitment citation is awarded to those individuals who have successfully recruited a new player to the role-playing game. To be considered for this award, the nominated recipient must have recruited at least one (or more) new player(s) to the community and that new player, having submitted an adequate character biography, has successfully been accepted into the community as an active player by the Commanding Officer.
