History:--- Jack was born and raised a few blocks down from starfleet academy. He never knew his father only that he was a starfleet officer and that made it hard on him as he had no one to look up to. His twin sister had an easier time as she looked up to her mother but Jack had no one as his grandfather fad died when he was little.

Through primary school he often got into trouble for not listening in class and doing his own thing. He was bullied as well to the point he would come home all bloodied and bruised as he could never beat the other boys. It stopped for a while until he got to high school and it started again. He was the loner kid and always crack wise ass jokes in class. He had grown rather handsome during his high school years and most girl fancied him but he never really showed interest as his mother had taught him the values of love.

When he was fourteen years old he was kicked out of school for fighting and was accepted into starfleet academy. At first he studied to be a marine and the teacher soon realised he had a talent for weapons and hand to hand combat and put him on an extra course which was a feeder unit for starfleet Spec ops.

He graduated when he was 18 years old tenth in his class and was assigned to the USS Khitomer as a marine. He saw extensive hit and run combat during his time there as the ship was a quick response vessel and shortly after turning 20 he was assigned to a counter terrorist unit and went undercover. He traveled around the Alpha and Beta quadrants with his team lead by a commodore but they all wore civilian clothing and never gave up their identity.

Five years past rather quickly and they had taken out a lot of the terrorist units operating within the federation and was assigned to a special combat unit as heavy weapons specialist. There job was to render aid to people who needed it wether it was rescue or combat.

They were sent to a war stricken planet and were a part of a starfleet task force which intervened in the conflict as the human colony was constantly under attack by a large mercenary army lead by a Nausicaan who wanted the planets natural resources for his own purposes.

He spent the next four years there and was in so many firefights he lost count. Most the people he cared about died around him but he kept fighting. His last mission was to attack an enemy supply depot and due to the lack of weapons and supplies they had to use older projectile weapons. He was with a unit which attempted to infiltrate the enemy base via a series of underground tunnels. They were attacked and after long and numerous fire fights as the unit broke off into teams Jack was left with nothing but two pistols, most the people with him had died protecting the demolitions expert and he was the only one left to protect him. He was able to take down the three remaining enemies but was impaled in the stomach by long piece of metal which was sticking out of a barricade and the demolitions expert was able to set the charges. Jack told him to leave and the man ended up doing so when more enemies came. Jack shielded himself behind the barricade as the bomb went off but was found by the enemy half dead in the debris.

He was taken to another base and tortured to the brink of death but was rescued by a starfleet tactical insertion team. He has spent the last two years recovering.
